Thanksgiving Day will mark 34 weeks in the life of our new baby! We went for another ultrasound and check-up today and found out some very interesting information. As of the last ultrasound, a mere 4 weeks ago, Ryan was just over 3 pounds. As of today, the educated guess puts him just over 6 pounds!!! And his due date isn't until January 2nd!!!! Yesterday morning Valerie and I went for her 20 week check-up. Of course this is the one where they do the ultrasound to find out what the gender of the child is. We couldn't get a really clear picture, but as best we can tell, IT'S A BOY!! So there ya go for all of you who thought it was going to be a girl. Monday 7/23, Valerie went for her 16 week check-up. Nothing major to report at this time. The doctor checked the heartbeat which is still around 160 bpm. Yesterday we went for Valerie's 12 week check-up. So far everything is right on track for an uneventful and healthy pregnancy!! And we were able to hear the baby's heartbeat! How cool is that!?!?! Today we went to the doctor for our second ultrasound. The doctor dated the baby at 7 weeks 4 days, and roughly 1.5 cm in length.
